It all depends on the stage of hair growth, amount of hair, skin sensitivity and medication & hormone balance etc.
You and your practitioner will come up with a treatment plan that works for your budget and schedule on your first session.

In between appointments, DO NOT wax, thread or pluck hairs. Shave if necessary!

Discomfort is minimal for most people. Numbing injections are available for purchase at an additional cost.

Hygiene is important prior to treatment areas, please shower prior to your appt
No makeup, lotion, cream or deodorant on the day of your appt (if working in these areas)
Shave the area 3-5 days prior to your appt
Drink lots of water starting 2 days before your session
No caffeine, chocolate or other stimulants on the day of your session
Discontinue retinoids 1 week prior
Do not plan your session before an event with lots of sun exposure
Dress comfortable clothing that allows access to treatment areas

Do not wash or wear makeup for 24 hours
No sweating, hot tubs, or swimming for 24 hours
Keep treated area clean for 24 hours
No skincare products or harsh facial treatment for 24 hours
Avoid sunlight for 72 hours
Redness, swelling and scabbing is normal. Do not pick at scabs!
Some regrowth is expected! We advise to come in regularly to more effectively treat the regrowth
Do not tweeze, wax or epilate between treatments, shave if you must
